My goal is to make Ghanaians happy – Milovan Rajevac

Serbian gaffer Milovan Rajevac has promised to deliver in order to make Ghanaians happy since football is life in the country.

The 67-year-old took charge of the Black Stars between 2008 and 2010 and made history with the team.

Rajevac, in his first reign as Ghana’s coach, was named African Coach of the Year in 2010 after impressive outings at the AFCON and World Cup respectively.

He made history by leading the Black Stars in 2010 to reach the quarter-finals at the World Cup in South Africa.

Few months earlier, he led Ghana through to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Angola in which they fell to Egypt.

The Serbian trainer is back for a second spell and has hit the ground running with the back-to-back wins over Zimbabwe in the World Cup qualifiers.

In an interview, Milovan Rajevac said he will do everything possible to make Ghanaians happy since football is life in the country.

“I must say that I am happy because I’m receiving a lot of support and one of my goals is to make people of Ghana happy because in Ghana football is life” he said.
