“My son Samuel Boadu deserves all the praise”- Bashir Hayford
Head coach of Legon Cities, Bashiru Hayford has described Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu as his son following the Phobians win against the Royals on Thursday evening.
According to Hayford, the Hearts coach came to him for his blessings and also took advantage of the opportunity to reveal his admiration for him.
“Samuel Boadu is my son. He came to me to bless him after the game. He said he always want to be like me. I am impressed with what he has done at Hearts of Oak. He deserves all the praise,” said Bashiru Hayford after the game.
Hearts of Oak reclaimed their top position following a 1-2 win against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Kwadjo Obeng Jnr and Fredrick Ansah Botwe were on target for the Phobians before Victorien Adebayor pulled one back from a freekick.
Samuel Boadu’s side have now gone 10 games unbeaten in all competition.
