His Royal Highness Osagyefo Nana Agyemang Badu I has charged the leadership of the Ghana Football Association to deal with clubs that flaunts football regulations to ensure sanity in the game.

He urged the President of the Ghana FA, Kurt E.S. Okraku to ensure the law is applied at all levels and not to deal with the canker of hooliganism with kids gloves.

He made his position on hooliganism and culprits of the law clear after apologising to the GFA on behalf of clubs that have been punished for wrongdoing but encouraged the association not to relent in their effort in ensuring the law is respected.

Speaking to the leadership of the Ghana Football Association who had paid a courtesy call on him in Dormaa Ahenkro on Tuesday, Osagyefo applauded the FA for their effort in transforming Ghana football and emboldened them to continue.

“I’ll, however, encourage you to crack the whip on offenders of the law to sanitize the game and give equal playing field to all and don’t be selective in applying the law,” he admonished.

The respected and revered King of Dormaa who is a judge in his public life ended by warning clubs to desist from acts that will earn them punishment to ensure the system works smoothly.

The review tour is aimed at soliciting progressive suggestions from clubs and fans, calling on fans and officials to respect decisions of referees, addressing hooliganism and other challenges clubs in those areas are facing.

So far, the GFA President and his ten-men team have visited Ahafo Kenyase, Sunyani, Wamanafo, Berekum and Dormaa Ahenkro.

The review train will continue to Nkoranza, Techiman and Kintampo before moving to Tamale to pull a cover on the trip.
