'Never Say Die'- Hearts Coach Boadu triggers his inner 'Dei Tumi' to inspire team after faltered start to season

Accra Hearts of Oak Head Coach Samuel Boadu remains upbeat about the side’s chances this season despite a faltered start.

The defending league champions have had a shaky start to the campaign, failing to win any of their first two league games.

They were held to a frustrating goalless draw at home by Legon Cities while a second half goal by WAFA denied Hearts a win at Sogakope.

The Ghanaian champions were also knocked out of the CAF Champions League by Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club and will next compete for a group stage ticket in the CAF Confederation Cup against JS Saoura from Algeria.

With concerns starting to grow about how the team has fared so far, Coach Samuel Boadu has had to trigger his inner motivational Speaker skills to breathe hope and positivity upon the Hearts of Oak fraternity.

In a post published by Hearts official social media channel, Boadu is quoted as saying “When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too. With continuous practice, we will get better. We are AccraHeartsofOak and we never say die”
Let’s do this – and let’s do it together 🤝

The message will certainly do much to inspire the Phobia family, inclusive of playing body technical team, Management and the supporters.
