No Ghanaian has been killed in South Africa after Black Stars beat Bafana Bafana – Ghana High Commission
The Ghana High Commission in South Africa has rubbished reports claiming that a Ghanaian has been killed in the country after the Black Stars defeated the Bafana Bafana last Sunday.
Over the past weekend, the Ghana national team hosted their South African counterpart at the Cape Coast Stadium in a final Group G encounter of the African qualifiers ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
After the game, South Africans expressed disappointment with many taking to social media to attack Ghanaians.
On Wednesday, a report according to Fox FM claimed that a disagreement had led to a South African stabbing a Ghanaian to death over the Black Stars v Bafana Bafana game.
However, in a statement from the Ghana High Commission in South Africa today, it says the report is false and only made up.
This is after the commission conducted a thorough investigation into the claim.
Below is the statement from the Ghana High Commission in South Africa.
