NSA suspends plans to renovate Accra Sports Stadium; rent out grounds to make money
The Ghana Sports Authority (GFA) after announcing plans to close the Accra Sports Stadium for renovation has rented out the space for an event.
Last week, the NSA sent a letter to the GFA information the football governing body to reschedule matches in the Ghana Premier League to be played at the Accra Stadium to a different venue.
This according to the NSA was to give way for it to undertake some renovation works to improve the state of the Stadium including the pitch.
To the shock of many, the NSA has today rented the Accra Sports Stadium for an event.
Although the entity renting the stadium is yet to come to light, the programme set to come on at the venue looks grand with equipment being mounted in a video available exclusive to footballghana.com giving an idea of how big it will be.
