OFFICIAL : Asante Kotoko sign budding forward Samuel Boateng from Future Stars
Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of striker Samuel Boateng ahead of the upcoming season.
Boateng has signed a three-year deal with the club following a protracted negotiations.
He joins the two-time CAF Champions League title holders from Future Stars Academy, who has just qualified to play in the 2021/22 Division One League.
Owusu (Okocha) passed his medical on Thursday before putting pen to paper.
He bagged 16 goals in the just ended Division Two league and helped his club, Future Stars to gain Division One status.
He becomes the club’s fourth signing of the season following the capturing of Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang of Wamanfo Mighty Royals FC and 18-year-old Clinton Opoku from Phar Rangers.
