“Olympics have never beaten me as a coach” – Eleven Wonders coach Ignatius Osei Fosu rubbish match fixing claims

Head coach of Eleven Wonders, Ignatius Osei Fosu has rubbished claims going round that  their week 32 victory over the “Dade Boys” is fixed.

The Techiman based defeated Great Olympics  1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to boost their survival chances.

After the game, Great Olympics supporters claimed their management sold the game to Wonders hence their defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium.

But reacting to the story after the game, Wonders coach, Ignatius Osei claimed he has never lose against Olympics in his coaching career and his team is currently on ascendancy.

“I don’t know how fixed games are played but if they [Olympics fans] don’t know, Olympics have never beaten me before as a coach.

“The second thing is that, this team is a team on the ascendancy.

“The reality on the ground is that, check all our away games, after we have played AshantiGold, you could see we are a team is developing gradually.

“For me I think it about decisions in terms officiating that has cost us in all our away matches.

“So it is not as it is a team that does not do well.

The coach also advised Olympics supporters to check his away results against club’s like Kotoko and Ashantigold.

“People should get it, we got points at Kotoko, we got points at Aduana, we got points at AshantiGold so it should tell you the kind of team we are but that is football.” Ignatius Osei Mensah.

Eleven Wonders’ victory pushed them into 12th with 39 points from 32 games. They need at least two points from their last two games to escape relegation.
