Our win rate when Thomas Partey plays is higher – Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta declares

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has stressed that it is unquestionable his side is stronger and wins more games when Thomas Partey is fit and balling in the midfield.

The former Atletico Madrid man just like last season has battled with several injury setbacks this season as well.

Last month, he picked a thigh injury when Arsenal lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.

Subsequently, the Londoners went on to lose consecutive games before eventually finding their feet.

Speaking in a post-match interview after Arsenal’s 2-1 win against West Ham United over the weekend, Mikel Arteta had this to say about Thomas Partey’s absence from the team.

“The stats are there and they are unquestionable. The win rate when Thomas is there is higher. It is something that is not good for us because in the last two seasons he has not been there as much as we want,” Mikel Arteta said.

Unfortunately for Arsenal, Thomas Partey is unlikely to return from injury until the end of the ongoing 2021/22 football season.
