Player Ratings : Ghana 0-0 Ivory Coast – Amartey impresses, Ayew struggles as Ivory Coast hold Ghana at Cape Coast

Lawrence Ati Zigi ( 6/10)- Very good day for the goalkeeper. Solid throughout the game. Denied Haller in the first half before producing a monstrous save to denied Max Gradel late in the game.
Andy Yaidom ( 5/10)- Another decent performance from the lad. Kept Jeremy Borga quite in the game. Didn’t offer much in attack as he was forced to defend more.
Abdul Baba Rahman (5 /10) – Shaky at times but kept his cool on the left side. Made some decent crosses in the Penalty box which the Ivorian did well deal with it.
Daniel Amartey (6 /10)- Another assured performance from the Leicester City defender. Was solid at the back throughout the game. Won almost all the aerial duels.
Alexander Djiku ( 6/10)- Great game by the Strasbourg defender. Was solid at the back through out his stay on the pitch. Got injured in the second half and Ganiyu was brought on to replace him.
Baba Iddrisu ( 6/10) -Another dominant performance from the Mallorca enforcer. Was everywhere on the pitch. Won almost all the one on one battles in the game.
Thomas Partey ( 6/10)- Came close to getting the opener but his shot was saved by Gbohou. Made his presence felt the in the second half with some fine touches.
Kudus Mohammed ( 7/10) – Best player on the pitch no doubt. Very hard to disposess when on the ball. His presence in the midfield adds a lot in the Ghana’s midfield. Always want to create something in the final third but was dealt very well by Frank Kessie.

Jordan Ayew ( 6/10) – Was very lively as he had to draw deep to get the balls. Worked very hard for the team but his final touches let him down.
Emmanuel Gyasi ( 5/10)- Played out of position but made a lot of incursions in the first half. Started the game very well by causing problems on the left side. Was off in the second half and was brought off for Fameyah
