Poor pitches in Ghana does not allow my players to express themselves – Prosper Narteh Ogum

The head coach for Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has shared that the poor nature of pitches in the country is not allowing his players to express themselves.

According to the highly-rated tactician, the bad pitches players are forced to play on have affected his team and denied them a chance of winning some games this season.

Speaking in his post-match interview after the goalless draw against Hearts of Oak, Prosper Narteh Ogum said, “And then some of the pitches we play on are not good at all. They don’t give the players the opportunity to express themselves.

The Asante Kotoko head coach added, “If you look at the quality of the Accra Sports Stadium pitch today, you saw the quality of the game, both teams tried to keep the ball on the turf, and I think if venues have good quality pitches like this our league will be better.”
