Royal Antwerp reach agreement to sign Pierre Dwomoh from Genk in record-breaking deal

Belgian outfit, Royal Antwerp have reached an agreement to sign Ghanaian midfielder Pierre Dwomoh from Genk in a record breaking-deal.

The teenager in the last two seasons have come to the limelight as one of the prospects for the future.

Although he was expected to soon cement a place in the midfield of Genk, Pierre Dwomoh is moving on in a surprise turn of events.

In an agreement that Royal Antwerp has reached with Genk, the Belgian Pro League side has accepted to pay 2 millon euros for Pierre Dwomoh.

The figure is the highest in history that is set to be paid for a 17-year old player in Belgium.

Romelu Lukaku and Jeremie Doku were involved in higher transfer fees but were older that Pierre Dwomoh at the time they were transferred.

According to sources, all is set for Dwomoh to be announced be Royal Antwerp subject to him passing a medical examination.
