Samuel Boadu backed to deliver with Muntari

Former Ghana international Habib Mohammed is confident that Accra Hearts of Oak Head Coach Samuel Boadu can tap the best out of the club’s newest recruit Sulley Muntari.

Muntari, a Ghanaian football legend joined the reigning Ghana Premier League Champions on a short-term deal and is ready to play during the second round of the campaign.

The 37 year old who is a one-time UEFA Champions League winner returns to the local league after more than 20 years away from the scene is expected to bring his vast experience and big personality to the fore to help Hearts attain greater heights both on and off-the-pitch.

However, a section of the Ghanaian football following have expressed concerns about the ability of coach Samuel Boadu who is a couple of years younger than Muntari to draw the best from the player.

In an interview with Onua Sports, Habib Mohammed who enjoyed some playing time with Muntari in the Black Stars believes the Hearts gaffer will surely get the best out of his former colleague.

“Coach Samuel Boadu will get the best out of Sulley Muntari if he sees him as a normal player,” Habib told Onua Sports.
