Samuel Boakye named MOTM in Wonders-Kotoko clash
Eleven Wonders Midfielder Samuel Boakye was named the Man of the Match in the Ghana Premier League Game Week 18 encounter between Eleven Wonders and Asante Kotoko at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
The midfielder was impressive throughout the course of the game as his equalizer helped Wonders claw back to secure a point against Asante Kotoko.
Eleven Wonders went behind early in the game through a fine strike from Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama in the sixth minute.
It was Brazillian’s first goal of the season since making his debut for Asante Kotoko on December 27, 2020.
Wonders however managed to find a route back into the game a few minutes to the end of the first half with Samuel Boakye heading home following a cross from Rasheed.
Boakye became a constant threat at goal, terrorizing the Asante Kotoko defense but was unable to find the clincher as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
