South vs Ghana: We’ve learnt from the things we didn’t do against Ethiopia – CK Akonnor
Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor believes the side is ready for the South Africa encounter having learnt from the things they refused to do against Ethiopia last Friday.
The Bafana Bafana will host the Black Stars in matchday 2 of the qualifiers at the FnB stadium on Monday at 4pm local time.
Ghana are on top of Group G after beating Ethiopia in the opener, with South Africa and Zimbabwe having a point each due to their stalemate last Friday.
Ahead of the game, Akonnor insisted the side have taken the South Africa game serious and are looking forward to win.
“It is a match that we have taken very, very seriously, when we played Ethiopia, there were certain things we needed to do, we have learnt from those things and I believe that come Monday, we will improve and we are looking to have a good match and the team is looking forward to have the three points” he said.
