Superb Ashie-Quaye wins MOTM in Olympics-Medeama clash

Fresh off after winning the U-20 AFCON, Accra Great Olympics left back, Samuel Ashie-Quaye continued his fine stretch of performances this season as he claim the man of the match award in the first game of the 2nd round of the GPL season.

Olympics and Medeama kick started the second half of the Ghana Premier League season on Good Friday and the Dade boys picked up all 3 maximum points to go top of the log.

The victory was kind courtesy a solitary strike from Samuel Ashie-Quaye who demonstrated excellent composure to slot home having been put through on goal after an overlapping run.

Ashie-Quaye has now scored 4 goals in 12 appearances for the flavour boys this season in the GPL.

The left back was recently called up to the Black Stars B where he made his debut in the international friendly against Uzbekistan.
