Swedish club Sandvikens IF sign Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Sadat Abubakari
Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Sadat Abubakari will feature for Swedish side Sandvikens IF after completing a move to the club, Footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The 23-year-old terminated his contract with AFC Eskilstuna this summer and moved to Linköping City making 13 appearances in Ettan Södra last season.
“It feels great that everything is ready. During the time I trained with the team, I felt that I had already become part of the group” the Ghanaian player told the club’s website.
Sandviken’s coach and sports director Thomas Gabrielsson is pleased with the addition.
“Sadat is a left-footed player who has a good understanding of the game, good passing play and works hard in the defense” he said.
“He can play in all midfield positions but also as a defender” he added.
