Swedish side Helsingborg IF sign Ghanaian youngster Benjamin Acquah on four-year deal
Swedish side Helsingborg IF have completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Benjamin Acquah after impressing on loan at the club.
Acquah has penned a four-year deal with the club after Helsingborg exercised the option in the loan agreement.
The 20-year-old joined Helsingborg on a season-long loan from Ghanaian side Ebusua Dwarfs and made 20 appearances in the Swedish Superettan.
Helsingborg gained promotion to the Swedish top-flight on Tuesday after beating Halmstad BK in the promotion play-offs.
The Ghanaian midfielder played 19 matches in the Swedish second-tier and one game during the playoffs and scored once in the process.
