Talented Ghanaian midfielder Eugene Frimpong joins Spanish outfit Real Valladolid
Ghanaian international, Eugene Adjei Frimpong has joined Spanish Segunda side Real Valladolid for the 2021/2022 football season.
The Spanish outfit since benefiting from the development and sale of defender Mohammed Salisu has been working with African Talent Football Academy to monitor more young players from Ghana.
After being impressed with former Ghana U-17 midfielder Eugene Adjei Frimpong, Real Valladolid has secured the services of the teenager for the upcoming season.
Although he is not expected to join the first team, the 18-year-old will be training mainly with the youth team to try and settle.
If he settled quickly and continues to display top quality, he is likely to be given chances in the first team to feature for the side in the Spanish Segunda Division and other competitions.
Speaking on the midfielder, Fran Castaño who is with African Talent Football Academy has shared that he has a lot of quality.
“He has a lot of quality to play with the ball. Good long passes, between the lines, last pass, good shot,” he said.
