Tema Youth goalie breaks leg in Super Cup clash against Goldstars
Tema Youth goalkeeper Christian Addai suffered a horrific leg injury in their game against Bibiani Goldstars FC in the Ghana Football Association Division One League Super Cup on Friday morning.
The Tema Youth skipper the captain of Tema collided with Andrews Baidoo of Bibiani GoldStars in the closing stages of the penultimate game at the Madina Astroturf.
On the 84th minute, his attempt to deny Bibiani Goldstars from scoring resulted in a serious Injury after a challenge from Baidoo.
He is reported to have suffered a broken leg injury in the process.
The medical team on scene worked on him before an ambulance carried him to the hospital for additional and required medical attention..
Meanwhile Evans Osei Wusu scored the only goal of the game to hand Tema Youth FC a comfortable win over the newly-promoted Ghana Premier League outfit.
