The game against Paderborn was a tough one – Michael Akoto
Akoto’s team in particular was under particular observation after the indisputable performance of the previous week.
Dynamo held at 0-0, keeper Anton Mitryushkin only really had to intervene twice. That was also due to the return of Michael Akoto.
As with the zero number in Hanover, the defensive specialist moved to the right side of defense after his suspension and provided the necessary stability there.
“That was the tough game we expected, as we said beforehand. But we’re still happy that we were able to take a point here in Paderborn. They’re a strong team,” Akoto said after the final whistle.
“The final phase was disgusting because Paderborn was so pressing. But we had made it our goal to defend the goal and go away with at least a point. A lucky goal might have been possible,” explained Akoto.
