This is my best performing season since I moved to Europe – Dauda Mohammed
FC Cartagena forward Dauda Mohammed says he is in his best performing season after departing Ghana to Europe in 2017.
The enterprising attacker after his exploits within two-years with Asante Kotoko left the Ghana Premier League to join Belgian giants, Anderlecht.
The 24-year-old has been impressive since joining the Spanish second-tier outfit, featuring 25 times and scoring 6 goals in the ongoing campaign.
The on-loan Anderlecht player in an interview with Kwaku Sarpong Sarkodie of Bryt FM in Koforidua noted he is in his best performing season since leaving Kotoko for greener pastures.
“I believe this is my best performing season since I arrived in Europe”
However, Dauda Mohammed says he will not be surprised if the technical handlers of the Black Stars invite him for the crucial World Cup play-off against Nigeria later this month.
“So, I will not be surprised if the technical team of the Black Stars invites me” he said.
“It will also be happy to join the national team to fight for qualification to the World Cup” he said.
Ghana will play the Super Eagles in a two-legged encounter with the winner of both legs securing qualification to the biggest soccer mundial in Qatar.
The four-time African Champions will play host to Nigeria on March 25, 2022 before the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, 2022.
