Top South African sides battle over the signature of in-form King Faisal striker Kwame Peprah
South African top sides Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are set for a total showdown as they battle for the signature of King Faisal striker Kwame Peprah.
The two sides have all tabled juicy offers for the Ghana Black Stars B forward, throwing a huge confusion in the management of the Ghana Premier League outfit.
Sources close to King Faisal have disclosed that top management members prefer the striker joins Orlando Pirates who have tabled a better offer compared to Kaizer Chiefs.
While the management is divided on which side Kwame Peprah joins, the two PSL sides are on red alert as to who scoops the Ghanaian as soon as he touches down in South Africa.
Pepprah is set to depart for South Africa this week after securing a traveling visa to the Rainbow country.
The striker enjoyed an incredible performance in the just-ended Ghana Premier League scoring 12 goals in the process.
He was the subject of transfer for Dreams FC, Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC but insiders say King Faisal are not ready to release the player to any local club.
The Ghanaian is yet to arrive in South Africa but the seeming showdown between Pirates and Chiefs is what many can’t wait to see as both teams are keen on securing the signature of the Ghanaian striker.
