Trabzonspor found an alternative to Caleb Ekuban; Richmond Yiadom Boakye is the transfer target
While the status of Caleb Ekuban in Trabzonspor remains unclear, it was stated that Fırtına is interested in Richmond Boakye Yiadom, who left Gornik Zabrze.
Caleb Ekuban staying in Trabzonspor for the new season won’t happen because of the Turkish club’s willingness to offload him this summer.
Negotiations continue with the French team Saint Etienne who is leading the race to sign Caleb Ekuban.
Meanwhile, other reports wrote that Storm was interested in Richmond Boakye Yiadom instead of Ekuban.
In the news, it was shared that the 28-year-old attacker, who left Poland’s Gornik Zabrze team, was also warmly attracted to the Bordeaux-Blues.
WHO IS RICHMOND BOAKYE YIADOM?
Born on January 28, 1993 in Ghana, Richmond Boakye started his career in Genoa infrastructure. The 28-year-old experienced player, who played in different teams such as Sassuolo, Juventus, Elche, Atalanda, Roda, Red Star, and JS Suning, was transferred to Gornik Zabrze, one of the Polish League teams, in January.
Boakye, who ran the ball in this team for half a season, could not score in 14 matches. The Ghanaian striker scored 5 goals while playing in 13 games for the national team.
