Uzair Alhassan starts Black Meteors vs Japan clash
Young Center Back Uzair Alhassan has been named in the starting eleven for Ghana’s U-23 side in today’s clash with Japan.
The Black Meteors face their Japanese counterparts as part of a series of friendly encounters lined up to prepare the Asian side for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics Games Men’s Football tournament.
Ghana will face Japan today before playing against them again on Wednesday June 9.
Alhassan who plays club football for Tamale Utrecht has been a key part of the various Ghana Juvenile setups. He has represented the U-17 side, was also part of the glorious U-20 side and will now be part of Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side as they aim a good start in the two-legged friendly.
The match kicks off at 10:30 am GMT.
