VIDEO: Black Stars leave Ghana for Johannesburg for Ethiopia clash – 2022 FIFA WCQ
The Black Stars of Ghana have today departed Ghana to South Africa where they will be taking on Ethiopia in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The national team of the West African country is second on the Group G standings of the African qualifiers but aiming to secure wins from the remaining games to advance to the next stage of the qualifiers.
Today, a 24-man squad named by Ghana head coach Milovan Rajevac has travelled to South Africa where CAF has sanctioned the match against Ethiopia to be played.
Unfortunately, Thomas Partey and Jonathan Mensah who are injured did not travel with the Black Stars.
Meanwhile, AS Roma sensation, Felix Afena-Gyan will also miss the Ethiopia game after his club decided not to make him unavailable.
The game between Ghana and Ethiopia will be played on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
