Video: Elvis Manu scores, Tekpetey excels in Ludogorets UEFA Champions League win over Mura
Ghanaian duo Bernard Tekpetey and Elvis Manu excelled for Ludogorets Razgrad in their UEFA Champions League game against Mura last Wednesday.
The Bulgarian champions progressed to the final round of the qualifiers after inflicting a 3-1 win over Slovenian side Mura.
Elvis Manu scored one of the Green Eagles goals as they set up Greek giants, Olympiacos as they seek to book a place in the group stages of this year’s competition.
Ludogorets started the game in an explosive manner, after Tekpetey started a move which involved Jordan Ikoko, with Pieros Sotiriou benefiting from the resulting cross for the opener.
The visitors the leveled Tomi Horvat after the break but Ludogorets produced a strong finish to score twice in the last ten minutes.
Elvis Manu shot the hosts into the lead after tapping in from an Cauly Oliveira Souza pass before the Brazilian sealed victory in stoppage time.
The Ghanaian pair have been instrumental in Ludogorets progress and will hope to reach the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.
