VIDEO-Mbella, Mfegue nothing special-Fatawu Mohammed jibes Kotoko duo
Accra Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed has taken a swipe at Asante Kotoko attacking duo Franck Mbella Etouga and Georges Mfegue Omgba.
The two Cameroonians have had an impressive start to life at the Porcupine Warriors, gradually earning themselves into the hearts of Kotoko faithfuls with their display.
Mbella Etouga in particular has netted 11 goals in 13 Premier League matches to emerge the leading scorer in Ghana’s top flight.
Both Mbella and Etouga have combined for 15 goals same number as that of the entire Hearts setup.
Talk in town ahead of Ghana’s Super Clash between Hearts of Oak vs Asante Kotoko on Sunday hinted the two could spell doom for the Phobians although that never materialized as the game finished in a goalless stalemate.
Despite the plenty positive reviews the aforementioned duo have received, Fatawu Mohammed believes they are nothing special as compared to other attackers on the local scene.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Silver FM, the Hearts Skipper said the two did not scare his side before the game as they do not measure up to Ghanaian legend and current Hearts player Sulley Muntari.
