WC qualifiers: Ethiopia national team coach Webetu Abate announce final squad for Ghana clash
The head coach of the Ethiopia National team, Webetu Abate has announced a final 23-man squad for his team’s clash against Ghana later this week in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Pitted in Group G, the two national teams of Ethiopia and Ghana will locked horns on Friday in the first of two World Cup qualifying matches expected to be played in this international break.
Having held training camp in the last few weeks, Coach Webetu Abate has today named a 23-man squad for the Ethiopia national team.
It follows a 2-1 friendly win against Uganda over the weekend.
Although Ethiopia will be playing as the away team, the side is confident it can upset the Black Stars to boost chances of advancing to the next phase of the qualifiers.
