William Saliba follows in the footsteps of Thomas Partey
With his latest words, William Saliba has followed in the footsteps of Thomas Partey, which will no doubt satisfy Mikel Arteta ahead of next season.
The Frenchman has been critical of his previous performances and has promised to correct the errors he made while on loan at Marseille.
Partey had previously been passionate about his performances early in the season and has now vastly improved on them, making him a vital addition to the club.
With Saliba following in the footsteps of Partey in terms of mindset, Arteta will have a lot of faith in the lad ahead of the upcoming season.
“Since February I’ve been very average,” he said
“There’s no need to hide, I know that I need to work,” he added.
“I’m a young player, but it’s no excuse. I’m going to give everything to get back to my good level,” he ended.
