Wydad coach Walid Rekraki available for return leg against Hearts of Oak after missing trip to Ghana
The head coach for Wydad AC, Walid Rekraki will be on the touchline later this evening when the team hosts Hearts of Oak in the CAF Champions League.
The gaffer missed the trip to Ghana last weekend after he tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
With his team travelling to Ghana with a depleted squad, Hearts of Oak took advantage to win 1-0 at the end of the first leg.
After two tests coming back negative in the past week, coach Walid Rekraki has been cleared and will resume his duties as Wydad AC head coach this evening when the second leg of the crucial game is played.
The coach will hope to guide his team to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first meeting in order to eliminate Hearts of Oak and have the chance to go through to the Group Stage of the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League competition.
Top players including Reda Al-Taknaouti, Ayoub Amoud, Ashraf Dari, Yahya Attia Allah, Sheikh Kumara, Yahya Gibran, Ayman Al-Hassouni, Anas Sargat, or Ayoub Sakuma, Moayad Al-Lafi, Simon Masova, and Moncef Ashrashem are likely to start for Wydad AC against Hearts of Oak this evening.
