Yusif Basigi named best coach of 2020/21 Women’s FA Cup competition
After guiding her side to defeat Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Women’s FA Cup finals, coach Yusif Basigi has been named as the best coach of the season.
Basigi who has been in charge of Hasaacas for several years led the team to win its 4th championship last week against the same opponent and followed it up this week with a 2-0 win.
Goals from Doris Boaduwaa and Milot Pokua were enough for Hasaacas Ladies as they won a historic double this evening.
Based on the club’s success, Yusif Basigi has been named as the coach of the tournament.
Ampem Darkoa duo Sonia Opoku and Evelyn Yeboah have also been named as the best player and goalkeeper of the season respectively.
Jafar Rahama of Northern Ladies also won the golden boot with 9 goals
