Ex-GFA boss Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe predicts doom for Black Stars

Former Ghana Football Association [GFA] President, Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe has said it will be extremely difficult for the Black Stars to make impact at the 2022 World Cup tournament should the team secure qualification considering their performance in the qualifiers.

A session of Ghanaian has casted doubts about the quality of the national team having failed to impress in the World Cup qualifiers.

The four-time African Champions must, however, beat South Africa at all cost in the final group game on Sunday to secure qualification to the final playoffs.

South Africa has extended their lead in Group G after inflicting a 1-0 win over Zimbabwe at the FnB stadium on Thursday.

They sit top of the table with 13 points with Ghana at the second spot with 10 points.

A win for Ghana will see the West African powerhouse earning a spot in the final playoffs to be played in March 2022.

In an interview, Nyaho Tamakloe, board member of Hearts of Oak said the Black Stars performed abysmally against Ethiopia and will fail to impress should they beat South Africa and qualify to the biggest soccer mundial.

“I am worried because our performance has not been the best in the qualifiers and if we don’t take care, we will continue to struggle,” he said on Accra based Asempa FM.

“We are trying to put together a team but the results has been abysmal which must be a concern.
