I just asked God to take my life away – MzGee’s husband says as he shares COVID-19 survival story

Husband of Media General’s finest entertainment host, Gloria Akpene Nyarku, popularly known as MzGee has revealed he is a survivor of the deadly coronavius disease.
Mr Raymond Acquah who indicated spent most of the year 2020 in the UK revealed he contracted the disease in Ghana adding he almost lost his life even though he had no underling health condition.
According to him, he asked God to take away his life at a point so he could get some relief from his pain.
The Simply Showbiz host’s husband shared his survival story in a series of tweet on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
He expressed his gratitude to his wife, MzGee , most especially, for her support during the critical point in his life.
“#Covid-19 brought me to the lowest ebb! There was a point, I just asked God to take my life away and put me out of my misery! But God came through for me. I am also eternally grateful to my wife MzGee Ghana, who braved the storm to help me pull through it all!,” his tweet reads.

He also in another, thanked doctors and staff of the Nyaho Medical Clinic and urged Ghanaians to be wary of the disease which had claimed many lives.
“To my doctor Dr. Tanko, those wonderful doctors at Nyaho Medical Centre and their lovely nurses! I say ayekoo! Finally, friends i lived most part of the year in the UK without covid, got it in Ghana and it almost killed me without any underlying medical condition! Pls Be Careful” he said.
