The Founder and President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has said the renamed Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Mr Daniel Kweku Botwe told lies at his vetting on Monday.
According to him, he can firmly conclude that the Minister popularly referred to as Dan Botwe, played a role in denying the people of SALL their constitutional right in the 2020 Parliamentary election adding that but for the disenfranchisement of the people of Santrokofi, Akpafu, Likpe, and Lolobi, he respected the minister.
“I respected Dan Botwe. I now firmly conclude he is part of the cabal that clandestinely disenfranchised SALL. He has told lies at vetting!!”.

Mr Cudjoe who had been critical of the Electoral Commission(EC) of Ghana since the people of SALL were denied Parliamentary representation during the 2020 elections made the comment on his twitter handle on Monday, February 15, 2021.
He made the comment when the minister designate took his turn at the Vetting Committee of Parliament on Monday.
In another, he wrote “SALL grand disenfranchisement Plan. EC says “it wasn’t me”, blames Minister Botwe. Today, Minister Botwe says it wasn’t him, blames EC. What are these guys made of? Oh dear!!”
