Vida Essel-LampteyThe 2021 edition of the distinguished Exclusive Men of the Year Africa (EMY Africa) Awards has been held in Accra.
This year’s edition, the 6th of the award scheme introduced to celebrate achievement, innovation, and brilliance within the business environment of Ghana awarded some 25 profound men and women who have distinguished themselves in the year under review.
The night saw the Chief Executive Officers of the McDan Group, and Vodafone Ghana, Daniel Mckorley and Patricia Obo-Nai adjudged the 2021 Man and Woman of the Year, respectively.
Other winners were the Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners, Mr Ibrahim Mahama, Former Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Bernard Oko Boye, multiple award winning dance –hall artiste, Stonebwoy, award winning actor Adjetey Annan, Ghanaian sprinter, Benjamin Azamati and many others.

- Designer of the Year – Prince Sackey Tawiah (Toe Talks Gh)
- Man of the Year Technology – Francis Akuamoah Boateng
- Discovery of the Year –Wode Maya
- Citizen Ghana Award – Dr Kenneth Ashiagbey
- Humanitarian Award-Monsignor Bobbie Benson
