Ohyeawora Bian Nyowa Panyin IV leads Dompim-Pepesa to extend helping hand to Apeatse

Ohyewawora Bian Nyowa Panyin IV, the Divisional Chief of Dompim-Pepesa division of the Wassa Fiase traditional area and his elders have contributed GHC1,000.00 toward the Skyy Media Group’s fundraising campaign in support of the victims of the Apeatse blasting.

This donation, which was done on behalf of the people of Dompim-Pepesa, is their widow’s might towards the Apeatse victims.

According to him, this support is to help bring relief to the pains that their fellow human beings are going through in the wake of the blast, last Thursday.

Explaining further, the Chief that is regarded as a very visionary Chief by his people, said when things like that happen to other people, you need to extend a helping hand because one does not know when something will happen to him or her.

“I believe it is important we extend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters at Apeatse because these are trying times for them, and we cannot sit aloof without doing anything. Other people have lost loved ones, several others are injured, so we couldn’t sit without doing anything; we felt we had to do something.

“This is our widow’s might to support efforts to make sure life is bearable for our friends, brothers and sisters who, by the grace of God, survived this devastation.

Ohyewawora Bian Nyowa Panyin IV revealed that this is not all that they will be doing to help the people of Apeatse, adding that they will contribute towards the rebuilding of the place too.

“We, the people of Dompim-Pepesa, are loving and caring people. And we are committed to exhibiting that by extending a further helping hand to our brothers and sisters at Apeatse by contributing towards the rebuilding of their community. We will definitely send some building materials to support,” he told Skyy Power FM in a telephone conversation from his palace in Dompim.
