Shops to close on October 28 over funeral of late Takoradi Amanful Chief

Offices, stores, and businesses in some areas of the Metropolis are instructed by the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) to close on Saturday, October 28, in order to respect and make way for the last funeral rites of the late Nana Obo Atta Kojo Essoun II, Chief of Takoradi Amanful.

The customary and traditional procedures for the burial and last funeral rites of the late chief will be restricted to specific areas of the Metropolis, according to a statement released and signed by Mr John Latse, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the STMA and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Takoradi.
