Suspected blood thieves grabbed at the Korle-bu Teaching hospital

Vida Essel-LampteyTwo suspected blood thieves are currently in the grips of the Korle-Bu Police for attempting to steal blood at Ghana’s premier medical facility, the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The two whose identity is yet to be made known were said to have been nabbed early Saturday, May 22, morning at about 2:AM while attempting to steal several pints of blood from the third floor of the surgical department of the hospital.
A statement from the hospital sighted by GhanaPlus.com said the two were arrested by the hospital’s security upon a tip off and had since been handed over to personnel at the Korle-Police Station for investigations.
