The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has charged delegates of the New Patriotic Party at the ongoing National Delegates Conference to elect men and women who can hold the party together.

He also asked them to elect competent people who will provide leadership and enable them work together to achieve their aim of breaking the eight (8).

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made the call in his speech at the National Delegates Conference at the Accra Sport Stadium monitored by GhanaPlus.com.

Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo is optimistic the party will achieve it quest to break the 8, with the right people in leadership.

“Let us make sure that we elect the men and women who can hold us together. Who can enable us to work together and who will be able to provide leadership for the party to be able to achieve our mantra breaking. Breaking the 8 we, shall in 2024”,

NPP holds National Delegates Conference

More than 7,000 delegates of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) from branches of the party across the country and beyond have gathered currently at the Accra Sport Stadium to elect national executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.

The elections which climax this year’s National Delegates’ Conference is expected to elect leaders from some 47 candidates vying to lead the party in various  capacities.

Positions up for grab include, National Chairman, General Secretary, National Organizer, National Treasure, Youth Organizer, Women Organizer and National Organizer.

First, Second and Third Vice Chairman positions are also up for grab.

Elections are currently underway.
