Leader of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Caucus in Parliament, Mr Haruna Iddrisu has said the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo seem to be sleeping on the job since he began his second term in office.

That he said was because the President as at today, some five month into his second term had still not been able to constitute boards and appoints Chief Executive Officers to run the various government institutions effectively.

Speaking in an interview on PM Express on JoyNews on Monday, May 24, monitored by GhanaPlus.com, he said the development was a mark of bad governance.

“I just think that the President will have to repurpose the Presidency, boards and corporations not in place, decentralization system have come to a halt so who is acting in that capacity, all those are matters that are important and  urgent that a serious President must be attending to them in the four five month into his administration,” he added.

We will hold government accountable
