Courtship not for games; meant for those ready for marriage

Celebrated Marriage Counselor, Motivational Speaker Reverend Daniel Y. Donkor has revealed that courtship is for serious persons who are readying themselves for marriage and not for games.

He explained that, unlike dating where both partners have the opportunity to understudy each other before deciding to advance or withdraw, the same cannot be said about courtship.

Reverend Daniel Y. Donkor maintains that people who are serious and those who play around engage in courtship bemoaning the abuse of the latter by lovers.

“We don’t talk about sex when dating but just mere friendship. But within my mind I love you but I would not voice it until I am certain you meet my specification. I study you…your way of dressing, your conduct and the way you speak among others”, he revealed on Accra-based Adom Tv monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

He added that “ I will try to find out if you are respectful, cultured and well-mannered during the period of dating to inform my decision to make progress or withdraw. After understudying you if I see you are good and meet all the characteristics or requirements and approach you then we start courtship”

The Head Pastor Royal Believers Ministry however reiterated that courtship is not for jokers or games as some people will see it.

“Courtship is not for games like Ampe or football. Courtship is a serious grounds for men and women preparing towards marriage”, he revealed.
