Deloris Delay breaks silence on Gemann’s marriage proposal
Television personality Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay, has hit back hard at Ghana’s celebrated 70s Pop Star Nana Akwasi Agyemamg, alias Gemann, who had indicated that he wanted to marry her in a recent media interview.
The dancer and pop star, Gemann, was Ghana’s best music exports from the ’70s through to the mid 90s when he was imprisoned for murder. Gemann now an ex-convict expressed his desire to marry Delay.
But Delay has said that Gemann was only involved in clout chasing and that she had never met him before.
“I’ve never met him before. It’s called clout chasing,” she said when a social media user confronted her on the comments expressed by Gemann.
Clout chasers refer to people who want to be popular or more popular by clutching to the popularity of others or by engaging in needless controversies to draw attention to themselves.
