My songs have saved many people from committing suicides – OJ reveals
In most communities around the world, music plays an integral part in numerous activities and the lifestyles of people.
Wherever one may find himself or herself the person enjoys good music. While some take music as a source of entertainment, others derive great inspiration from the lyrics of good music. To some extent, music changes the lives of people even without the knowledge of the composer or writer.
This gift of music changing lives is, however, not common, for it takes good writers and singers to possess such talent.
But Ghanaian Gospel musician Michael Oware Sakyi well known as OJ has revealed that he has a great portion of such gift as his music is capable of saving people from committing suicides and also making life better for others.
“God being so good, I have many people who have testified to me that they stopped committing suicide after listening to my song”, he said.
“Sometimes they call to tell me I had poison in my hand with the aim of drinking to take my life but after listening to your song, I stopped. Others say my music has made their life better. These are my award”, he adds.
