Pomp and pageantry as Media General welcomes McBrown to Onua

It was a morning of pomp and pageantry as Media General, a leading media firm in Ghana welcomed celebrated Ghanaian showbiz personality and TV host, Nana Ama McBrown to its Akan outlets, Onua TV and FM.

McBrown officially joined the station today, March 13, after weeks of speculations that she had quit Despite Media Group’s United Television, the station which gave her, her very first exposure as far as media is concerned to joined Media General’s TV3.

The celebrated media and television personality and multiple award winner was welcomed by a team from Media General and Onua including Morning Show hosts Bella Mundi and Rolland Walker and ushered in, in a queenly manner amidst drumming and dancing of adowa by cultural troops.

There was among other things singing and dancing, live band performances and an appearance by renowned gospel songstress,Piesie Esther, and high life sensation, Akwaboah to crown the celebration.

In a short speech, McBrown said she is now a member of the Onua family.

She said the journey have been made possible by God and for that she was grateful.

She acknowledged the support of her fans through out her journey in showbiz and the media space and believe they would do same for her even as she begins a new chapter at Onua FM and TV.

McBrown joined Despite Media’s UT as host of United Showbiz, a live entertainment show aired on Saturday night in 2019.

Prior to that she hosted, a cooking show, dubbed Aben and currently, her own programme, McBrown’s Kitchen.
