Gospel Musician Sonnie Badu has expressed concerns over half baked individuals in this current generation.

He says what’s worrying is the fact that the youth do not want to go through the process to the top.

Sonnie Badu notes that this accounts for various failures at the top because a number of persons do not want to learn and go through the processes of life.

“I will say this, this new generation wants to breakthrough without suffering, they want to breakthrough without mentorship, they want to breakthrough without being led, they want to breakthrough without going through the process because social media can make you popular. Everybody goes to like it so you think you are up there but if you haven’t been through the process you’ll fail at the top. You can’t skip it.

When we were growing up we had no social media so we went through mentorship, we had people we looked up to, people that we called our fathers that when they said no it’s no. This new generation when your mentors are saying no, they say yes I’m doing it because I have this kind of view and that’s why most of them cannot get to a certain place because they haven’t taken time to learn through the process.”

“My advice to the generation is to find a mentor, be humble to serve and wait for your time because when it’s your time, nobody can stop you,” he said while addressing some youth in Cote D’Ivoire.
