2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 17: Legon Cities v King Faisal preview
Never-impressive Legon Cities FC will this weekend take on King Faisal in the final match of the first round of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
Just like last season, the team nicknamed the Royals has flattered to deceive and yet to have something to show for the many investments made.
As a result of the team’s poor showing this season, Legon Cities FC are just one place away from the relegation.
Due to that, the team cannot afford to lose to King Faisal knowing that it will mean they will fall into the red zone at the end of the first round.
The team led by Coach Maxwell Konadu takes confidence from the fact that the game which will be tough will be played at home at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.
Yes, the Legon-based side would struggle but a good display with a touch of resilience can secure the maximum points for the side.
For the away team, King Faisal, the team has done well this season but struggles with consistency in recent games.
The team has just a win from the last five matches with players said to be frustrated with the poor run.
This weekend’s game is set up nicely and a conclusion of the analysis is that either side could carry the day.
Predicted scoreline:
Legon Cities FC 1-1 King Faisal.
Kick-off time:
This weekend’s clash will kick-off at 15:00GMT on Monday, February 14, 2022.
