A top performance from King Faisal on Friday afternoon has seen the team cruising to a massive 2-1 win against WAFA SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The Kumasi-based club today played as a guest to the academy boys at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
In a game serving as a matchday 18 clash of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League, neither side managed to score at the end of the first 45 minutes.
After recess, it took King Faisal just four minutes to open the scoring as an effort from striker Ibrahim Osman hit the back of the WAFA SC net.
Pegged behind, the hosts upped their game and equalized in the 66th minute through captain Konadu Yiadom to stay in the match.
Unfortunately for WAFA SC, King Faisal finished the match strongly as Mawuli Wayo scored in the 86th minute to seal a 2-1 win for the visitors.
