2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 5: Karela Utd v Asante Kotoko preview
Karela United will be aiming to spoil the unbeaten run of Asante Kotoko this weekend when the two teams locked horns in the Ghana Premier League.
The team based in Anyinase has had a fairly good start to the 2021/2022 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign but needs to up their game to challenge for the title.
On the back of a 2-1 win against Berekum Chelsea last weekend, Karela United now has to deal with league leaders Asante Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors have won the first three matches of the season to open a gap at the top of the league table.
Ahead of what will be a tough contest, both clubs have prepared intensively and are keen on fighting for the needed three points.
For Karela United, the team will hope to ride on the back of home support although it is not expected to make any difference.
The opponent, Asante Kotoko, the team has confidence on their side and will hope head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum gets his tactics spot on once again.
The upcoming clash will be played on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the CAM Community Park.
Player to Watch:
Isaac Oppong – The Asante Kotoko teenager has started life at the club in fine fashion. He has three goals in the first four matches and could decide the game for the away team should things go right on the day.
