2022 World Cup qualifiers: Zimbabwe is a very difficult team to play against – South Africa forward Keagan Dolly
South Africa forward Keagan Dolly believes the side penultimate 2022 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe will be difficult.
The Bafana Bafana will play host to the Warriors of Zimbabwe later today as they seek to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers.
South Africa sits top of Group G with 10 points and are being trailed by the West African powerhouse, Ghana, who has 9 points after 9 points.
They need a win and draw to earn a playoff spot.
Ahead of the final two games, Dolly is anticipating a difficult game against Zimbabwe as most of their players ply their trade in the Premier Soccer League.
“I’m very excited to join the Bafana team. It’s a very exciting team of talented youngsters. The boys have been playing well, they’re on top of the group.
“For me it’s just to come in and help where I can, to try and help us to qualify for the next stage of the qualifiers. We know Zimbabwe are a very difficult team to play against.
“We know most of their players play in the PSL, so we get to see them week in and week out. But if we just stick to what we have been doing and try to win, we’ll do good on the day. It’s a very massive week for Bafana.
